It may include doors into a building, access to certain areas within a building, or even access to outside gates. A building access system is composed of few basic elements: the master, the site controller, the entry access unit, and the user input device. These components are critical to creating a secure, properly designed access system.

Once the system is installed a user database will be configured. Door locks will never need to be changed again. So, if a keycard is misplaced or lost, it can be immediately removed from the database and a new one can be issued. If an employee leaves your company, his or her access rights can be deleted within minutes. Since a key-card can not be easily duplicated, this greatly lowers your overall exposure to risk. Every proximity card swipe is logged into the time & attendance database for record.
