GIM Security provides smart door access solutions for various industries. Access Control is an electronic means of restricting access to a building or designated area, like a restricted room. It may include doors into a building, access to certain areas within a building, or even access to outside gates. A building access system is composed of few basic elements: the master, the site controller, the entry access unit, and the user input device. These components are critical to creating a secure, properly designed access system.

Once the system is installed a user database will be configured. Door locks will never need to be changed again. So, if a keycard is misplaced or lost, it can be immediately removed from the database and a new one can be issued. If an employee leaves your company, his or her access rights can be deleted within minutes. Since a key-card can not be easily duplicated, this greatly lowers your overall exposure to risk. Every proximity card swipe is logged into the time & attendance database for record.

With keyless entry key codes, fingerprints, or wiegand readers, no one will have to worry about keys. If your tenants or employees tend to misplace things, this system is a great choice. Options to use both card entry and key code or fobs entry in one system are avaliable.

Keeping track of who comes and goes will not only help you be aware of who is inside your building, but will provide a record in the event that there is an issue. Access systems track the times when doors were opened and could be instrumental in a case where police need to investigate.
